Food Drive until November 22

Kids for Kids program

Geared to engage students at local schools were participants will collect non-perishable food items and become advocates on behalf of children their age experiencing homelessness and food insecurity.

Children experiencing homelessness are twice as likely to be hungry as their peers and suffer long ranging impacts of malnutrition with adverse consequences to their cognitive development, physical growth, educational success and social and emotional well-being. Our facilities at Lotus Village are pivotal in solving these issues by providing nutritious meals and educational programming to teach children the importance of healthy eating. We provide over 350,000 meals annually and this program would be life-changing in supporting our mission to provide meals that are designed to nourish and uplift bodies, minds, and spirits.
